1.) What is Malcolm's description of Cawdor's execution?
He died throwing away the dearest thing he owed. He goes bravely to his death without crying or wining and approaches death without fear. Duncan says that you cannot trust anyone by looks alone and was Cawdor was the person closest to the king.

3.) Who does the king names as his successor? Malcolm. How does Macbeth react to this information? He is not happy at all because there is now another person in his way.

Who speaks this quitoe and what is the significance of it? Macbeth; he knows that it is the wrong thing to do but wants no one and nothing to interfere with him.
Scene v
1.) After Lady Macbeth reads the letter, what does she tell us is her opinion of Macbeth, and how does she plan to help him? She's implying that Macbeth have the guts to do what is needed to be done to become king, but she will help him.
2.) What is Lady Macbeth's "prayer" to the spirits after she learns Duncan is missing?
She wants everything that makes her human to be removed so Duncan does not have a chance.
3.) What advice does Lady Macbeth give Macbeth when he arrives home? Look as if you are innocent and have done nothing wrong so Duncan will not expect anything. Because you cannot read a man's emotions by looking at his face.
4.) What are Macbeth's arguments to himself against killing Duncan? He is a wonderful king and even heaven will be angry at him. And Duncan is Macbeth's uncle, and the guest of the house which means Macbeth should protect him.
5.) What arguments does Lady Macbeth use to convince Macbeth to commit the murder? She tells Macbeth that he is not a man if he does not kill Duncan, guilt-trips him,
6.) What is Lady Macbeth's plan? To kill Duncan while he sleeps and drug the guards.
